World Autism Day & Inauguration of Sensory Integration Unit

Karachi 2nd April 2021, World Autism Day was marked with the Inauguration of Sensory Integration Unit at Center for Autism Rehabilitation and Training, Sindh (C-ARTS) by honorable Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar, Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities. The Esthetically designed Unit is a specific type of sensory activity to help the child appropriately respond to light, sound, touch, smell, and other input.

Addressing the ceremony, Syed Qassim Naveed Qamar lauded the efforts of C-ARTS in providing services to ASD children free of cost and is the only center in the public sector providing such facilities.

The ceremony was also attended by Dr. Nabila Soomro, Madam Huwa Abdullah, Regional Director, Karachi, and management of C-ARTS
